OUR PROGRAMS & SERVICES

RCDS contracts with NYC DOH & Mental Hygiene to serve Queens, Brooklyn, Manhattan, Staten Island and the Bronx. Additionally RCDS is contracted with the local DOH municipalities to serve Orange and Rockland Counties to provide the following EARLY INTERVENTION SERVICES:

Initial Service Coordination
(NYC Boroughs Only)

PRESCHOOL SERVICES (children ages 3-5)
In Rockland & Orange Counties, RCDS provides the following Preschool Services:
• Speech Therapy
• Physical Therapy
• Occupational Therapy
• Counseling

Children must first be assessed & qualify for related services via their respective county’s Committee of Preschool Special Education (CPSE) program. The duration, frequency, and location of service are based on each child’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).

Our Fresh Meadow, Queens site has a state-of-the-art Sensory Classroom from which we offer private pay:
• Parent-Child Developmental Group Care
• Preschool Kindergarten & Reading Readiness Groups

Additionally, RCDS also offers facility, home or community-based individualized private pay:
• Developmental or Educational Assessments
• Speech & Language Assessments
• Applied Behavior Analysis
• Speech Therapy
