QUARTERLY PROVIDER AWARD

RCDS’
Provider Award program recognizes the hard work and dedication of our many providers.
Providers are nominated by RCDS staff based on a variety of quality assurance compliance monitors
including timeliness of activity log-in and record submission, parent or team feedback, continuity of care
and special efforts on each case assignment.
Each quarter, the provider with the highest scores in QA outcome areas and best
overall performance will be chosen and announced on our website. Winners will receive a $100 gift card and issued an award certificate.
This
campaign highlights RCDS’ commitment to quality care and shows our appreciation to providers who help our
agency maintain this important mission.
Q1 Provider Award Recipient

| Khadijah Waldron, Developmental Specialist
Khadijah is a graduate of The College of New Rochelle and she received a BA in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Social Work.
She continued her education at Mercy College to earn a Masters Degree in Elementary Education with a certification in Special Education.
Khadijah began her career as an 8th grade special education teacher for the Department of Education.
During her tenure as a public school teacher working with children with developmental delays she discovered her passion for individualized education and family training.
She contracted as a SEIT and ABA provider through the Committee on Preschool Special Education for four years.
During this time she worked closely with children with developmental delays as well as their families addressing
educational needs and providing the families with techniques and strategies to help them achieve their educational goals.
In pursuit of working with an even younger population, she became involved in the area of Early Intervention as a Special Instructor and Evaluator.
As of September 2008, Khadijah became a full-time staff member with RCDS serving our families residing throughout the metro NYC area.
Khadijah is best known for her lasting relationships formed over the years with both the children and parents. |
